Blackpowder Shoot

You are invited to our Black Powder, Muzzleloader Shoot at the
Pleasant River Fish & Game Conservation Association in Columbia,
Maine on September 11th and 12th, 2021.
Although this is the first Blackpowder event that we have hosted in a number of years, we hope
this will become a popular annual gathering.
Planned events include:
50 yard Rifle, Smoothbore and Pistol Competitions
100 yard Rifle and Smoothbore Competitions
Military Volleyfire Competitions
Smoothbore and RifleWoods Walks
Demonstrations, Fun shoots, and Plinking
Archery, Tomahawk, Knife Throwing and Skills Demonstrations.
Additionally, primitive cooking, crafts, and living history skills, and lifestyle will be on
display and all participants are encouraged break out their wools, buckskins, irons,
and woods, and plan on having a fun and interesting time.
As with all our activities we welcome the whole family and encourage everyone to get involved, get
hands on.
Overnight camping is available with primitive camping and primitive
living and history set-ups and demonstrations encouraged. Meals and concessions
are available with a ‘Pot Luck’ Dinner scheduled on Saturday night.
Our facility is located on the Pleasant River so activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming,
& canoeing are available on site.
Cost: $25 for the weekend with camping, $20 Shooting only, $15 Saturday,
$10 Sunday shooting only. Youth under 12 free.
