The Puckerbrush Primitive Gathering is a yearly event held the third weekend of July on the grounds of the Pleasant River Fish & Game Conservation Association (PRFGCA) in Columbia, Maine. The focus of the gathering is the instruction in and sharing of primitive skills, traditional archery, and bushcraft with learning being a big emphasis .

PRFGCA is located in rural Downeast Maine which is a perfect venue for such an event.  In addition to organized activities, fishing, canoeing, and hiking opportunities are available on site.

Saturday evening there will be a pot-luck dinner, followed by a bonfire gathering with story telling and music (feel free to bring an instrument).  Telescopes will be set up for astronomy & star gazing pleasure (conditions permitting).  A timeline of specific activities and workshops will be published as the time of the event draws near.

Please avoid disappointments by reading the event information and guidelines below before you come!
